Some of the top 50 terms are not surprising. Britney Spears, for example, is the most-searched singer, while boy band 'N Sync is the top band. From the world of sports, the NFL continues to be the most-searched sport with web users, with Anna Kournikova taking home the gold as the most-searched athlete over the past 10 years. "From the world of entertainment, The Simpsons is the most-searched television show from 1995 through today, while Star Wars is the most-searched film," said Tsouvalas. "One of the most interesting things we see with internet search activity is the diverse nature of search popularity," Tsouvalas added. "Where else but the internet would you see Howard Stern coming in as the most-searched radio host, and Oprah Winfrey as the most popular television host."
