Lycos Cinema is sponsoring start pages on all computers available in the Wireless Café within the American Pavilion at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival. Voting is underway and runs through June 30th. The top 21 films will receive an invitation to the Independent Features Film Festival, July 25-27, 2008 at the acclaimed Tribeca Cinemas in NYC and will be available exclusively on Lycos Cinema.

This year, the online viewing and voting process has been significantly enhanced with the addition of Lycos's patent-pending synchronous Watch & Interact technology, enabling the public to screen, chat and vote for their favorite films alone or with a group of friends. Another new addition to the Independent Features festival will be several "special screenings" where a director, producer or talent will be in the screening room answering questions live.
