Lycos Selects Ask Jeeves to Power Search on Lycos.com

Oakland, CA. and Waltham, MA - March 2, 2005 - Ask Jeeves®, Inc. (Nasdaq: ASKJ) and Lycos, Inc., today announced that Lycos has selected Ask Jeeves' algorithmic search technology to power search on Lycos.com. Effective immediately, the syndication agreement will bring Ask Jeeves search to millions of Lycos users.
