Rob Balazy
Chief Executive Officer
Rob came to Ybrant Digital in April 2012 as General Manager and Chief Executive Officer of Lycos. Before joining the Company, Rob was President and CEO of Inform Technologies, Inc, a Spark Capital backed developer of semantic web technology based in New York City. Prior to Inform he was Vice President at NameMedia, Inc, overseeing business development including strategic partnerships, mergers & acquisitions, and media sales. Rob did earlier stints in product development, marketing, and sales at Register.com, Afternic, and Applied Semantics, where he led the business effort behind the commercialization of AdSense and Google's subsequent acquisition of the company.
Rob holds a B.S. in Management Science from Boston University and lives in Carlisle, Massachusetts, with his wife and three children.
Oded Lev
Chief Operating Officer
Oded's responsibilities with Lycos and Ybrant are designed to ensure the growth and expansion of Lycos business through the fruitful synergistic activities between Lycos products and Ybrant's many divisions, seeking and developing new business opportunities in the international territories and searching for new business initiatives that will enhance Lycos business opportunities as a Ybrant subsidiary.
Oded joined Oridian, a current subsidiary of Ybrant, as Director of Business Development in 2003 after graduating from the Business Administration program at Manchester University and earning a Master's degree at the London School of Economics. Since then, Oded has held several senior executive roles in the business development area, including global team development for Ybrant.
Christopher Cummings
Vice President, Product Management
Christopher leads product strategy, development, and management for Lycos' core products including online games destination Gamesville.com and Web Publishing properties Tripod.com, Zeeblio.com and Angelfire.com. Previously he served as Lycos' Director of Product Development.
Prior to Lycos, Christopher was Senior Product Manager for GameLogic, Inc., where he oversaw development of gaming and customer acquisition solutions for regulated, land-based casinos in the United States and the United Kingdom.

Diana Lane
Human Resource Director
Diana has over 25 years of experience in human resources. Prior to joining Lycos, Inc, she was the human resource professional for QualityMetric Incorporated and Boston Ballet. Her extensive experience also includes Aerovox Manufacturing, Marshalls, Bradlees, Watermark Donut Company, and Zayre Stores.
She consistently works as an agent for positive change and is committed to maintaining the dignity and respect of each employee.
Diana received her BA in History from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, certification from Mediation Works, Inc., and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Northeast Human Resources Association (NEHRA).
Mark Blais
General Counsel and Secretary
Mark oversees and advises Lycos' management and Board of Directors on all of its worldwide legal affairs, including corporate governance, contracts, litigation, and intellectual property. Joining Lycos in 2005, Mark previously served as the Company's Associate General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel.
Prior to joining Lycos, Mark was an associate in the commercial litigation departments of the law firms of Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue in Cleveland, OH and Goodwin Procter LLC in Boston, MA.
Mark graduated from Tufts University in 1995 with a B.A. in political science and a minor in Russian language. He holds a law degree from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, where he served on Law Review and graduated magna cum laude in 1999.
Joe Pranevich
Director of Technology and Operations
Joe is responsible for the backbone of Lycos' technology and support infrastructure, including internal operations, registration, billing, and customer service. In addition, he leads product development for Lycos Mail and Lycos Domains.
During his 11 year term at Lycos, Joe has worn many hats and championed the adoption of open source technologies as part of his commitment to improving the customer experience while lowering costs and remaining true to the company's technology roots. Prior to Lycos, Joe was lead engineer for discount-travel startup All Destinations (acquired by OneTravel in 1999).
A former contributor to Linux Journal magazine and Linux Today, Joe's work has appeared in numerous industry magazines and websites, and been translated into several languages. He has contributed to multiple open source projects, including the Linux kernel, WINE, and Xen, and is currently a guest lecturer at Harvard University Extension School.
Mary Beth Westenfield
Corporate Controller
Mary Beth Westenfield is in charge of planning, directing and supervising the corporation's financial affairs. Her position plays a key leadership role in policy and systems development, internal controls, and business planning.
She joined Lycos after working at Comverse Inc., a technology company that specializes in telecommunications and where she had responsibility for all efforts in Latin America. Additionally, she has held extensive Financial/Controller roles at a number of other technology companies.
Mary Beth is a graduate of Smith College where she received a Bachelor's in Economics and Latin American Studies. She later earned her Masters of Science in Finance from Boston College, Carroll Graduate School of Management.
